Recently there hasn’t been any sunlight at all in London, so here is a tube selfie ^^ I’ve been feeling well and walking a lot in the cold, so maybe that has helped with the swelling?
My mum sent this photo of me to her friends and one of them replied saying that I've grown a lot prettier and that she wouldn't have known it was me! I was really happy to hear that of course, but it makes me laugh~ A lot of my friends who I meet in-person don't notice that I have had surgery at all, whereas when I post photos people ask me if I have had eye surgery?! I think it's a true testament to the skill of Banobagi surgeons ^^ I look much better in photos but I look natural in real life too :) A funny story while taking this photo: I used to really hate having high-quality photos taken of me because of my huge jaw, so I kept looking down while my friend was taking photos. He made me look up and smile and I was so nervous to see how the photo would look ><!! It turned out nice?!?! I’m so happy that I had the surgery to help me overcome my massive complex about my facial asymmetry. My confidence is improving!
Do I look professional? One of my friends messaged me saying oh my goodness, you look completely different! He even asked me if I had my eyes done. All I can say is thank you to Dr. Oh for my zygoma reduction! When I consulted with Dr. Lee for my rhinoplasty, he did not advise any eye procedures because he said that my eyes would look bigger once my face become smaller. And it's true! My eyes stand out a lot more now. I really look up to both Dr. Lee and Dr. Oh as they are such experienced and caring healthcare professionals :)
My soft and slim jawline and high nose! Thanks to Banobagi ^^ I feel that the impression I give to others is more gentle now. I only have eyebrow makeup in this set of photos, to give everyone a clear and unbiased look at my recovery.
Leaning in closely to the camera~ I love how my genioplasty elongates my face. When Dr. Oh first suggested genioplasty, I was surprised but agreed to it because I trusted his judgment. It has paid off!! Honestly, my chin has not bothered me at all during my recovery.
I have noticed that I feel a lot more confident wearing less makeup outside. In the past, I would contour my face and nose everyday to make it look slimmer. Now I lazily shape my brows and I leave the house~ it's really refreshing to do something like that every now and then, to give my skin a break.
Having a good time taking selfies and snapchats of my face ^^ I'm really happy that I made this personal decision to have plastic surgery. Just to remind everyone (and myself) how I looked before surgery:
Ahaha there are some interesting photos in this collage. They're all photos that have been taksn of me ^^
I decided to make a collage of photos from my first week of recovery to show everyone the process and what to expect. Looking back at these photos, I feel happy that I recovered well. The first few days were not easy, but each day after that I got stronger and less swollen ^^ this is thanks to the amazing aftercare of Banobagi staff! ^^
And finally the results:
Looking at all these photos side-by-side, all I can say is that having surgery at Banobagi clinic has really changed my life for the better. I can't thank Dr. Lee and Dr. Oh enough!
I’ll keep everyone updated! ^^
