My Plastic Surgery Experience in South Korea: Day 19 Banobagi Facial Contouring and Rhinoplasty Post-Surgery: Korean rhinoplasty has changed my face! More before and after photos after facial contouring

Day 19 Post-Surgery

I'm back at university! At first I thought that the changes in my face were very subtle and none of my friends would notice, but they all noticed that my nose had changed! Everyone is praising my nose now and saying that I became prettier. I didn't even realise how much of a change rhinoplasty would make to my face, but it's actually the biggest change.

I wasn't unhappy with my nose before surgery, but I was always upset that my side profile didn't look good. I always felt like I looked kind of dumb, which didn't fit my image- I hadn’t realised that the problem was my nose. Thank you Dr. Lee for solving my dilemma and doing such a good job on my nose.

I'm the type of person who generally has no specific idea what to do with my nose… some people know that oh~ I must heighten my bridge by 3mm and reduce my alars and raise my nose tip by 1mm and stuff like that. I went into the consultation not knowing anything and came out enlightened! Here's a before picture to show you my nose condition previously ><

Dr. Lee pointed out that I had a very short nose which was super upturned. He also told me that I had exposed nostrils. On the diagram he drew a higher nose bridge with a naturally slanted ‘S’ curve and promised to cover up half of my exposed nostrils ^^ He really showed me his high degree of expertise as he knew exactly what to do. Dr. Lee also took care to explain to me that my nose would look extra upturned after surgery but would become more natural after 3 months. I'm really glad that he said that because after my nose plaster was removed… I was so surprised by my extremely high nose! As he said, it's become more natural and the appearance is less short now.  He also dismissed any unnecessary procedures such as eyelid surgery which makes him a really trustworthy doctor in my view.

It's not just my rhinoplasty that I am very happy about. I purposely tied up my hair and took this straight-on ID-style photo to show how much more even my face is! When I took photos like this before, I could clearly tell that my chin would be leaning towards one side and my face was just completely uneven. Dr. Oh showed me on my CT scan how severely asymmetrical my jaw was >< He visited me before I was discharged and promised that he had done his best to correct my asymmetry. I'm in love with the results <3

Here's a comparison:

In the previous photo everything looks inexplicably crooked! It evokes an uncomfortable feeling because my asymmetry is quite serious. My after photo shows some swelling but the symmetry is honestly so much better. I never expected that the results would look so good after less than 3 weeks. Dr. Oh’s surgical skill is definitely next level amongst all the facial contouring specialists. He said that my case was complicated but he has done such an amazing job ^^ I couldn't be happier with my results now. I wonder how it will look like in 3 months when the swelling is reduced even more?~

Due to the zygoma reduction, my eyes suddenly look like they've gotten bigger?! I had a problem with ingrown lower lashes and that has suddenly disappeared too. I didn't know that my protruding zygoma caused these problems. I feel like I can smile happily in photos without worrying that my eyes look small now. People also keep asking me if I did any surgery on my eyes, because my double eyelids look more obvious-- no, Dr. Lee did not touch my eyes!

Dr. Lee was definitely right in saying that after facial contouring surgery with Dr. Oh, I wouldn't need any eye surgery. The amazing predictive powers of top surgeons 💯

I took a selfie with my friends~ My face doesn't look as awkward as before ^^ This is how bad I used to look when taking selfies with my huge face in the way:

Can I forget this past me already 😂

I'm definitely still swollen after the surgery, so I'm doing my best to walk a lot and wear my face band everyday. It's only been less than three weeks after all, and swelling takes from 6 months to 1 year to resolve. Hopefully I can show you all better results soon ^^
