Day 26 Post-Surgery
No filter, no makeup ^^ Recently I feel that my swelling has gone down, which I am really happy about! Recently I have been chatting with others about my experience at Banobagi with facial contouring and rhinoplasty and I feel that my experience has been really good ^^ I haven't experienced any more side effects and I feel that my facial numbness is pretty much gone. I would say that I have regained 90% of sensation in my chin area. My nose tip is also far less tender and sensitive, although I'm still very careful not to bump it!

I feel like my jawline may not be as super defined, but it's improved so much compared to before surgery. Especially when you compare it to these photos:

My nose was honestly so short and flat before, I'm surprised that it didn't become my complex. My wide face and chubby cheeks gave the impression that I was overweight, but I was around 40kg when these photos were taken during my first cheerleading competition. I also feel that my wide zygoma made my eyes look smaller. After my zygoma reduction, I don't feel that my eyes look as small and slanted as before.
I haven't really talked about my genioplasty, but Dr. Oh really performed magic on my short chin. If you compare my chin length in the photos above, you can really see the difference! Just by lengthening my chin, my face already looks a bit slimmer. My chin looks really natural! I love it.
Compared to my first 2 weeks of recovery, it's not so easy now to tell how much my face is changing everyday. I made this image to remind myself how far I have come in a month’s time ^^
Looking at it, I feel so happy to have come this far in my recovery and I'm thankful to the team at Banobagi for taking such good care of me. They really encouraged me during this recovery process ^^

ReplyDeletehi everyone. One advice I can add is to be sure that your surgeon is a rhinoplasty specialist. You wouldn't want an inexperienced surgeon to agree to place a huge implant in your nose that will look unnatural and cause problems in the future. You need to be careful what you ask for and who you ask it of.
